Masculinity

The masculinity project is a series of screen printed collages relating issues surrounding masculinity. I have used traditional greek sculptures in various stages to illustrate the meaning of the work, taking advantage of the already existing link between classical greek sculpture and gender ideals. Each work conveys a message that's been carved into the work with a scalpel creating an imperfect, emotional appearance.
